Workday Results

Our workday on Saturday was very productive.  We got all the benches assembled, sticks picked up around the 3 "woodsy" stage areas, the 100 yard backstop was erected.  It is starting to look like a range , HUZZAH!  We have a lot of work to do yet, but it is getting there. Here are some pix from our work day.

Howdy-

Dust off your work gloves everyone- we're planning a work day at the new range Saturday afternoon! Several of us were there last night to start a few things and inspect the progress. Bring yard tools and a chainsaw- it's kind of like a big back yard without your neighbor's doggy surprises. There are a lot of sticks to be picked up and some tree trimming to do. There may be some shovel work and some post holes to dig.  (Maybe someone can show me how those tools are used. )

Randy's done a lot of work there already. I think we're about ready to move the container and the targets. I think with a little elbow grease it will be in great shape for our first scheduled plate shoot (formerly pin shoot) on May 6th!

 (compudoc's note: the new range is about 8 miles west of broken bow on the ryno road.  When you come to the shell of old amphibious vehicle in the east ditch that is the driveway to the range [it is also on the east side of the road].  If you get to the residence of Randy Jenkins, you have gone too far.)

Meeting Tuesday the 13th @ Huck's

We will be having our March meeting Tuesday the 13th @ Huckleberry's Hideout in the party room at 7:00pm.  This meeting will include election of officers so be there or be elected ;-) (just kidding, kind of).  Memebrship dues need to be paid before you are allowed to vote.
