A Few Words From Our President (Bazyn that is).

February 1, 2012
Dear Members,
YES, WE DO HAVE A SHOOTING RANGE AGAIN!  Thanks to Randy and Vicki Jenkins, we
have a new location to shoot just southwest of Broken Bow. There's plenty of work to be
done, but it has the potential to be a first-class facility. Your help (ideas and sweat) will be
essential to make it happen.  We'll be scheduling shoots as the physical transformation of the
range allows. In other words, the more we work the sooner we can play.
The best way to stay abreast of the news concerning the Mid Nebraska Rifle and Pistol Club
is to visit our blog: www.mnrpclub.blogspot.com . It's a good idea to check it regularly. If
you've been watching that site, you know that we've been shooting .22s indoors at the
fairgrounds. Come and join us (and bring a friend) on Monday evenings.
Our next meeting will be February 14th at 7 pm, in the party room at Huckleberry's Hideout.
There will be several items on the agenda regarding the new range, but the most important
item is nomination of officers for the upcoming year. The election will be held at the following
monthly meeting, scheduled for March 13th at 7 pm. If you'd like to run for an office- or if you
don't want an office- be sure to attend! : )
If you have any questions or concerns, contact me or one of the other officers. If you'd like
something placed on the agenda, let me know.
See you at the meeting and at the new range!

Monday Night Lights, Rimfire Style.

It sounds like are Monday night rimfire shoots are going fairly well. There have been 8 people shooting on the 3 nights we have been at the fairgrounds. Doc has graciously donated ammunition as a prize to the best aqt target of the night and a brick for the best aqt of the indoor season. If this looks like a lot of fun, IT IS. Come on out, we are at the shooting sports building at the Custer County Fairgrounds on Monday nights at 7:00pm. We do have a $5 fee to pay for the rent of the building. Come on out and have some fun. Compudoc
