Potential sight for new MNRPC range

Last night several members went and checked out a potential new sight for the MNRPC range. The sight is about the same distance from town as the previous range. The sight would have a seperate range for long range shooting (up to 700 yards) and short range/pistol. The sight has some interesting potential. I am not aware of any decisions being made at the time of the viewing. We will keep you posted as developments occur.

Emergency/Special Meeting

We will be having a special meeting of the MNRPC at Huckleberry's Hideout, Tuesday Oct. 18th at 7:00pm in the party room. This meeting will be in relation to the closing of the range. All members are invited/encouraged to attend.

MNRPC RANGE CLOSED

I just got the phone call that effective immediately, our range is no more. The construction of the windmill towers will be starting and with workers down range, that means NO SHOOTING! At this point if someone needs a range, there is a public range just south of Pressey Park. This news was not unexpected, but we were not expecting it this soon. At last word an alternative sight for our range has not been found. We will keep you up to date on all information as we get it.

October Meeting

This Tuesday night at 7:00pm will be having the October meeting of the MNRPC. The meeting will be in the party room at Huckleberry's Hideout. Come join us early (6:30ish) for great conversation and supper.
