NO PIN SHOOT IN AUGUST!
The MNRPC will NOT be having a pin shoot this month. Try as we might, it just isn't going to work out. Do plan on joining us on August 8th for the second "Rim Fire Challenge" though! The first one was a lot of fun and I'm betting this next one will be just as challenging! Details to follow...

JULY 18, 2010 3-Gun
That's right. We're having another 3-Gun Shoot this month at the Mid-Nebraska Rifle and Pistol Club.
5 COF's with minimum round counts as follows:
Handgun - 45
Shotgun - 18 (LEAD ONLY)
Rifle/Carbine - 60
Bring some water with you. Bring some extra and drink it all. It's July in NE for crying out loud.
We'll be setting things up on Saturday evening and finishing up on Sunday morning for those of you wanting to help. Any and all help will be greatly appreciated! Hope to see you at the range.
COF Minimum Round Count was updated on July 15 (I think I'm done messing with the COF's)
I've been asked about the ranges we will be shooting Sunday and what rifle might work the best. As for the "ranges" part of the answer I responded with "80 yards". After I thought about it for a short time I changed my mind. "80 yards" is still a correct answer but not a complete answer -so now be thinking "powder burned" targets as well as "I cant even see the target you are talking about!" types of ranges. I love good questions!!!
*** NICELY DONE GENTS, NICELY DONE! I'm hoping the rest of you had as much fun as I did today at the shoot. I know I enjoyed the new "steel additions" to the AP Shoots and by some of the reactions to them I'd say you did too. Hope I didn't make it too tough on you guys today and that we'll see all of you back at the August AP Shoot (rumor has it you'll need your flashlights). I'd like to thank all of you for helping the day go safely and smoothly. Couldn't do it without all of your help. I'll have the scores posted ASAP as well as the new "Hostage Killers" pics... ***
