ReplyDeleteObama and company are admitting they have had to abandon the idea of an assault weapon ban bacause of lack of support among their fellow Democrats. The Dems from rural areas are telling the Boss that the idea of gun control is "political poison" for them among their constituents and they will not support the idea.
Even Her Ladyship Pelosi is showing no enthusiasm for attempting any revival of an assault weapons ban because of a lack of support among her colleagues.
Hold your breath, guys and gals. Maybe something called 'common sense' is creeping into the catastrophe called Congress????
I think that it has just been put "on hold", until they devise a new plan of attack. It is not over!
